Oh, the 24 hour bug has bit

At least we HOPE it's a 24 hour bug. I don't know if any of our stomachs can handle much more.

Abby came home from school today complaining of a belly ache. She said her tummy hurt all day, but didn't need to go to the nurse. Promptly after that statement she had her head hung in the toilet. She has vomited thirteen times since four o'clock today. We finally got her to take some Advil and keep it down, so for now the cramping has stopped and she resting.

Bless her heart though. She's been writhing on the couch calling out, "Mo-mmy, Mama, please make it stop!" It's so heartbreaking to watch your baby crying in pain and know that there is little to nothing you can do. :(

*groan* Cinnamon candy will never taste good again!!!

I'll pass on your love. I think she'll be better, she had a quiet night to rest. I hope she wakes up hungry. First thing will be to brush her teeth b/c she could have knocked over a trash man with what she had last night. Bless her.

Poor baby! (just a tip) Benedryl will help to settle the stomach and make the kids sleep! It's got something in it like dramamine to help with motion sickness. My ped recommends that everytime the kids are sick and can't quit throwing up! Send our love! Hope she is feeling better very very soon! Keep the ckn noodle soup and gatorade going! Been through this before! It's bad! YUK! -Irishmama

No more puking since last night, but she's still been in her underwear and on the couch all day. Basically the same position as in the pic! She still hasn't eaten a thing. :( Now Zach is schlumping on the couch too, so who knows.

Thanks for the love!
